A friend of mine recently approached me about doing a redesigned logo for a friend of her’s company. I looked over the brief and wanted to do something that had the same feel as their old logo but with a more modern approach. The original logo was a one color sans serif font, very basic. Luckily the pre-chosen colors were very appealing and everything else was up to my design eye.
The main thing that I wanted to do was create something sleek, that had a unique element that could be used as a logo mark as well as within the logo itself, giving the client multiple options within one design. I was very excited with the results.
In the end the client wanted something different but regardless, I think the this attempt is one of the sleekest logos I have ever designed. I can’t ignore its sophisticated style, flexibility, and subtle strength.
